Ms. Marcus is an associate trainer, instructional designer, and consultant with Insight Strategies. Ms. Marcus has a diverse business background and expertise in Instructional Design, Process Development, Project Management, Leadership & Motivation, Cultivating Creativity, Goal Setting & Follow-Through, and Customer Service.
Ms. Marcus has extensive cross-industry experience, which includes work for Government, Retail, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, and Consulting companies.
As an Associate of Insight Strategies, Ms. Marcus provides behind-the-scenes curricula development expertise and marketing support as well as in-the-field facilitation with key clients.
While at Qualex Inc., Ms. Marcus designed the Training Manual for Customer Service Representatives in the Regional Call Center. She also assisted with the development and implementation of a Call Coaching program which substantially improved the quality of service provided to consumers.
At Accenture, Ms. Marcus's ability to develop clear and concise training materials and job aids made her a tremendous asset to the Global Network Services organization. She was a Lead Trainer for the Network Transition Program, training all U.S. and Canadian Telecom Support personnel how to utilize new support models. She also assisted with International Training (Asia-Pacific) as part of the same program. She was the Global Lead for Videoconference Technical Support, and facilitated training for both U.S. and International (Europe) personnel.
As an Executive at Accenture, she provided one-to-one coaching for six geographically dispersed team members. She was also actively involved in "Great Place to Work" initiatives - leading a local Diversity team, creating and sharing Virtual Team Best Practices, and facilitating Project Management Principles courses.
Ms. Marcus’s expertise is derived from a dynamic professional and academic career. She received her BS in Business Administration of University of Phoenix in 1998, and is currently completing her MBA coursework through Colorado State University. She has a facilitation style that encourages individual contribution and group involvement, and a unique ability to help teams collaborate to achieve results.
